I used to love to stack wood as a child - I much preferred it to kitchen chores!🎄

Hilarious! I was never on wood stacking … I was the one prepping for the fire. Great memories, right???

I know what it is like to write into the silence and have something sacred you have to give and you so very much want simply to have people to give it to, and then everything after that is sauce :) Your words and heart flow with so much love. As Jamie said, You are the light! I am glad to know you, to walk in companionship with you from a distance! <3 Love, and Merry Christmas! Let the light shine! Thank you for BEING! Thank you for writing, for offering, creating, for raising and nurturing the Lights that call you mother/mama/mom - your children! xoxoxoxo Peace. Mir. Pachem. Shalom. Salaam. Freidan.

Beautiful post and Woodstack prayer! Winter is definitely a time to snuggle in and celebrate all of the hard work and resilience that led to the harvest of presence as we lean into a gratitude of presents. We are the gift. Thank you for sharing the beautiful poem by Willa Cather and the beautiful music. Cozy and warm. Bless you.
