Dear friends,
the past few weeks have been a whirlwind and while I’ve made so many notes for upcoming letters, I barely had time to sit down and write.
Behind the scenes I have been working on
☽ healing my nervous system by finding more time to myself doing nothing (which sounds simple but is incredibly hard to do)
☽ updating the webpage for The Pause motherhood retreat. I’m grateful and happy to announce that we will host another retreat mid October!
☽ re-branding my podcast (coming soon!)
☽ trying to make sense of the world. Meditating on peace and hope.
☽ …and of course mothering three children, which often has me close to tears, in rage, very very tired and of course drowning in waves of unconditional love
Until you find more of my writing in your inbox, I want to invite my lovely community here to join me for a coffee on Zoom next week.
Wednesday, February 28th, 10 am CST
I will welcome us with a poem or a prompt, then we will converse freely and if it feels good towards the end I might add some gentle breath work or movement or meditation.
Community, I come to find is what has been missing most for me in recent years and I believe that community is the number one thing that is missing for mothers.
I used to be eager to go down my to-do list and “then maybe I will set up a virtual meet-up”, but I am realize to create space for connection, I want to prioritize community building above everything else.
